Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia Mountain Resort - Bucegi Mountains Plateau
Departure from your hotel in Bucharest. We drive through Prahova Valley which is an unforgettable display of the splendours nature most generously holds out. Before starting our trekking day, you will have the chance to discover the famous castles of Sinaia Mountain Resort – which served as a residence for the Royal family. Peles Castle Complex is one of the best-preserved royal palaces in Europe. The Castle is full of ornaments the inside as well as on the outside, and features elaborate wood sculptures and paintings. From Sinaia Mountain Resort (about 100 km from the Bucharest airport - 2 hours driving), we climb up to 2000m (by cable car or by foot - your choice) and we trek on the Bucegi Plateau to the Omu Hut. Bucegi Mountains display spectacular quays carved in limestone, ice valleys, astounding walls made up of conglomerates, where the acrobatic climbing can be practised, sharp towers, but not the last weird natural formations formed by erosion, such as giant stone mushrooms called Babele, (Old Ladies) the famous Romanian Sphinx. Bucegi Mountains have very good marked trails and all the areas are patrolled by the mountain rescue teams. Overnight in Padina. The hut is made of wood.  Accommodation is double or single rooms with private batroom. The price do not include breakfast, but you can order it separately. Also you may buy meals for lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Padina Valley - Bran Village - Bucharest
In the morning we depart from Padina Valley towards Bran Village.  Getting closer to Bran Village we will admire the pasture land where the shepherds still make smoked cheese like hundreds years ago. Down to Bran Village and visit Bran Castle a.k.a. Dracula's Castle. This castle was a stronghold since 1377, being located at the border of Transylvania with Wallachia. Between 1920-1927 Bran Castle was restored by royal family, who turned it in a beautiful summer residence surrounded by a park with promenade alleys, lake, fountains, trees, and a tea house.

Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Bucharest. Drive about two hours outside of the city to arrive at the stunning castle of Peles. Depart at 9:30am from Brasov city center, bd.Eroilor 17, Modarom building as our meeting place. After about 30 minutes, arrive in the small town of Rasnov, where you will visit the Peasants Citadel, a national monument belonging to the A class list, a medieval fortress built in 1211–1225, in the time when the Teutonic chevaliers ruled Brasov County. For an hour, enjoy a visit inside the fortress, discover it's history and legends, and enjoy the wonderful view of Brasov Plateau and the surrounding mountains.

Continue your journey for another 30 minutes towards Bran Castle. Completed in 1388, the castle was built on a steep cliff between Măgura and Dealul Cetăţii, with an exceptional view of the nearby hills. Discover this world famous castle, learn about it's history and legends, especially the legend of Dracula. The visit will last for an hour and a half.

Next, head to Sinaia, the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family. The one hour drive will be spectacular.
